The contestant who represented Armenia in Junior Eurovision 2013 Song Contest was Monica Avanesyan. Being chosen through national selection, she came up with the song “Choco Factory”, composing the music and lyrics to the song in collaboration with Armenian Jazz-singer Emma Asatryan.

Junior Eurovision 2013 took place in Kyiv, Ukraine. Along with Armenia, there were 11 other participating countries. Monica was the 3rd contestant on the stage. The decorations were suitable for both the song’s title and its context – they were in the form of chocolate, cakes, cupcakes, and other sweets. The costumes Monica and her dancers were wearing were colorful and resembling a candy-store’s employee’s clothing. The lightning was in the rhythm of the dance and the overall performance – dynamic and lively.

Monica Avanesyan, from Armenia, placed 6th place, having a total amount of 69 points. The Smile Shop, Georgia, preceded her with a difference of 22 points, whereas Rustam Karimov, Azerbaijan, followed her with a difference of 3 points. The winning contestant of Junior Eurovision 2013 was Gaia Cauchi from Malta with her song “The Start”, taking the leading place with an overall amount of 130 points.
