Twelve year-old Dalita Avanesyan studies at “No. 1 Specialized Music School named after Aleksandr Spendiaryan” in three different departments: piano, vocals, and guitar. She has created 6 songs and music videos that have been included in different CD and DVD musical collections.
In 2007, she won the “Young Performers’ Republican Contest-Festival named after Aleksandr Spendiaryan.”
In 2009 and 2010, she participated in “Armenian Dance Olympics,” winning first place and gold medals.
In 2009, she won first place in Yerevan Municipality’s “Golden Reed” Contest-Festival.
In 2010 and 2011, she won awards in the “New Wave” competition.
In 2010, she participated in “Junior Eurovision’s” Armenian election finale and was included in the top five performances.
In 2011, she won an award in the “First National Children’s Awards Ceremony” in the “Best Hit” category.
She has also participated in the following beauty and elegance competitions:
2005 – She became “Miss Yerevan,” after which she participated in “Miss-Mister World” beauty and elegance contest and became “Miss Armenia.”
2006 – She won the title of “Miss Commercial” (she has filmed numerous commercials from a young age).
2007 – She received the title of “Miss Talent.”
2008 – She became an honorary member of “Miss-Mister World” international organization.
2009 – She became “Miss Top Model Armenia 2009” and received a special award from famous boxer Alex Abraham.
Other Activities:
Dalita hosted “Armenian Second” television channel’s “Good Morning, Armenia” program’s section of “Children’s News.”
She was a correspondent for “Kentron” and “ATV” television channels’ “Boomboomik Show.”
In 2010, she participated in “Shant” television station’s “Hidden Talent” program, entered the semi-finale, and participated in the gala concert.
She has starred in numerous episodes of the children’s program “Shilashpot,” which is broadcasted on “Shant” television station.
Currently, she plays the role of Charlita in “Armenia” television station’s “Charlie Show.”
She has her own page in “Yes” youth magazine named “Dalita and Friends.”
Dalita is also currently participating in Artashes Alexanyan Theatrical Studio’s production of “Armenians’ Trial is the Trial of Mankind.” She is the youngest cast member in this production and plays the role of a boy who sells water.
She has been the guest of many television and radio shows.
