Junior Eurovision 2010
The first quarter-finalists that made it through to the semi-final are: Razmik & Friends "Let Be", Masis Minasyan "Sing With Me", Dalita "Mermaid Song", Vahagn Grigoryan "Vrum-Vrum", "Aliqner" group "Qami", Hayk Melqonyan "My Land Armenia", Heghine Hayrapetyan "My Little Friend", Ninela "Chalo Doggie".

Dialects and imaginary languages have surfaced again and again at Eurovision. In 1989 Switerzerland's entry was sung in Romansch and Lithuania's song "Strazdas" was sung in a west-Lithuanian dialect.
In 2007 Armenia took part in ESC for the second time and won the same 8th place with Hayko’s "Anytime You Need". It gave us the right to take part in the Final stage in Belgrade 2008.

  • First Semi-Finalists
    1. Jacklina Tumanyan “Angel” (music and lyrics by Thomas Thotnholm/ Michael Clauss/ Danne Attlerud) Being the vocalist of the “Hayer” she wants to commence her individual musical career as well.
    2. Hariel Sando “Only Music Makes Me Strong” (music by Harutyun Apresyan; words by Suren Saghatelyan)
    3. R.P. “Blue Bird” (music and lyrics by Vahan Khachatryan/Hayk Harutyunyan/Arpine Shahnubaryan) R.P. sings from early childhood, now she’s a back-vocalist in “Tatev & Anelik Band” and an interpreter at “Armenia TV”. This is the first attempt to commence her individual career as a singer.
    4. Nelly Poghosyan “So I Will Go” (music and lyrics by Arsen Adonts/ Twana Rhodes) Being the vocalist of the “Hayer” she wants to commence her individual musical career as well.
    5. Gevorg Martirosyan “New Ways” (music and lyrics by Vahram Petrosyan/ Sergey Grigoryan)
    6. Asta “My Story” (Author: Anton Lavrentiev) A completely new name in Armenian Music Industry, but well-known to Russian audience, she’s a bit like Celine Dion but with her own manner of singing.
    7. Arshaluys Sargsyan “Let Today” (music and lyrics by Emil Svajyan/ Arshaluys Sargsyan) Being the vocalist of the “Hayer” she wants to commence her individual musical career as well.
    8. Sergey Grigoryan “I’m Yours” (music and lyrics by Sergey Grigoryan) A young performer who has taken part in a number of contests but his best prize was winning in the “Future of the Armenian Pop” nomination at Armenian National Music Awards 2005.
    9. Arina Hovhannisyan “Color of My Tears” (music and lyrics by Arnold Fritzsch) She’s a student of “Emi-Bi” Producing Center with an intention to find her own space in the Armenian Music Industry.
    10. Erik “Let It Not Seem Less” (music and lyrics by Zara Petrosyan)
    Second Semi-Finalists
    1. Hayer “You Need a Girl” (music and lyrics by Brandon Stone) The Best Pop Group 2005 and 2006 during the Armenian National Music Awards, winners of many competitions and contests they have their strong position in the Armenian Music Industry.
    2. Meri Voskanian “Again, Again” (music and lyrics by Meri Voskanian/ Adam Kesselhaut) “Pop Idol” participant in Germany in 2005.
    3. Meri Voskanian “Carry Me In” (music and lyrics by Meri Voskanian/ Adam Kesselhaut/ Cande De Rouge)
    4. Marianna Hovhannisyan “I’ll Prove I Am Stronger” (music and lyrics by Emil Svajyan/Anush Manukyan) She’s a student of “Emi-Bi” Producing Center with an intention to find her own space in the Armenian Music Industry.
    5. Sargis Edwards “Rain” (music and lyrics by Sargis Edwards) PhD in Jurisprudence and black belt in Karate have never stopped him to create and write songs in Armenian, English and Russian. Simultaneously he works at 2 albums, one of them is lyrical and the second one is a joint project with Jivan Gasparyan, our famous duduk-player.
    6. Karine Asiryan “Your Heart Is Hot” (music and lyrics by Roman Ignatyev/ Natalya Sidortsova/ Anita Hakhverdyan) She has commenced her music career with the famous METRO musical performance in Moscow; she won the 3rd place in Slavic Bazaar 2006 in Vitebsk.
    7. Hayko “Anytime You Need” (music and lyrics by Hayko/ Karen Kavaleryan) The Best Singer 2003 and 2006 at the Armenian National Music Awards.
    8. Vo.X “I’m My Lover’s” (music and lyrics by Aram Rian) Twice nominated for the British Gospel Music Awards (2003 and 2004) in the category of Best British Group, Armenian pop-rock duo Vo.X is Aram and Gaya Rian, two singers-songwriters with a solid experience of nearly 15 years, as well as a massive stock of more than 1000 songs and 3 musical dramas.
    9. Emmy “You’ve Done It” (music and lyrics by Rafael Artesero) She has an addiction to participate in as many contests as she can manage, wherever and whenever they were the places she won are either the Grand Prix or the first places. Best Female Singer 2006 at Armenian National Music Awards.
    10. Lana Khachatryan “Hate When You’re Gone” (music and lyrics by Emil Svajyan/ Anush Manukyan) She’s a student of “Emi-Bi” Producing Center with an intention to find her own space in the Armenian Music Industry.
