Vladimir Arzumanyan with his song "Mama" has won the National Final yesterday evening. The jury members were Armina Darbinyan (music expert), Shahen Shahinyan (vice-rector of Yerevan State Conservatory), Arthur Ispiryan (singer, composer), Qristine Pepelyan (singer), Nazeni Hovhannisyan (actress, TV hostess), Gor Sujyan (vocalist "Dorians" rock-band). Congratulations to the winner! He has a hard work ahead!

There is a change in the running order of the second quarter final. Song No. 3 and No. 7 swapped because of the technical reasons, as there are kids in two performances in a row and they need to change stage costumes. In order to run the show smoothly these changes have been executed.

On August 25, 2010 all the participants of the JESC Armenian National Selection gathered in "Play City" to have fun and take part in a draw. The running order numbers were printed on a small balloon, which was located in a huge balloon. Each participating child had to touch the chosen balloon with a magic wand in order to reveal the hidden number.

On August 5, 2010 "Public TV Company of Armenia" CJSC has completed the process of entries submission for the JESC 2010 National Final. Total amount of those is 31 and the organizing committee is in a process of final selection. The first half of the songs will compete on September 2, 2010 and only 10 out of them will be selected for the semi-final. The second half of the songs will compete on September 3, 2010 and again 10 of them will be qualified. On September 4, 2010 there will be 20 songs competing in the semi-final and 10 will be qualified by the professional jury for the final.
Final of the National Selection for the JESC 2010 to take place in Minsk, Belarus will take place on September 5, 2010. The possibility of combined voting system is being discussed for that purposes. All the selected songs will be available online soon.

"Apricot Stone" has been announced to be a winning song on February 14, 2010 by the end of the National Selection. According to the 50/50 jury and sms-voting system the song has been qualified for the Oslo competition. Eva Rivas will have to compete in the second semi-final on May 27 in the first half of the show. The exact running order will be announced soon after the Head of Delegation meeting in March. Stay tuned for the news!

According to the 7th point of the Armenian National Selection rules for "Eurovision Song Contest-2010" to be held in Oslo the creative board of Public TV Company of Armenia has decided upon 10 finalist-songs out of 30 applications. Those will be presented during the live show on February 14. The running order of 10 entries will be decided during the draw on February 11, 23:00 live. Luara Hayrapetyan comes 2nd on November 21, 2009 Grand Final of Junior Eurovision Song Contest with her energetic and powerful "Barcelona". She did her best even with the acute pharyngitis affected her three days before the big show. Ralf Mackenbach from the Netherlands and his fascinating "Click Clack" have won the hearts of the viewers and audience this year! Congratulations, Ralf! Congratulations, the Netherlands! On July 11, 2008 Monika Manucharova has won the National Final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Armenia. Her song "Im Ergi Hnchyune" ("Sounds of My Song") is a beautiful ballad, which will be rearranged by Ara Torosyan. The lyrics will be slightly changed and the back-vocalists are Meri Mnjoyan and Serine Khodikyan. The choreography of the show will be done by Artem Gevorgyan and the stage outfit will be designed by "Zatik Studio".

"Qele, Qele" reached final on May 20th, 2008 in Belgrade with the second position in the queque. Final of the Eurovision Song Contest has taken place on May 24th, 2008 and Armenian entry has made it to TOP-5, Sirusho brought 4th place in the Final. The special award from press has been given to Sirusho in Euroclub during the after-party. AMPTV thanks EBU, RTS and all people working hard for making the idea of the "Confluence of Sound" possible. Congratulations Russia!

Sirusho's dress will be designed by famous Russian designer Igor Chapurin, who is well-known in Paris, Moscow, New York, Tokyo, etc. The dresses for the rehearsals and press-conferences are acquired from Dolce & Gabbana prete-a-porter collection and Armenian designer Kivera Naynomis, more known as Arevik Simonyan.

"It would be a hell of a party, count on that in case Armenia wins and hosts the ESC in 2009!", Sirusho said to Eurovision.tv at the UK Eurovision Preview Party at Scala.
The Scala, London is considered to be the perfect venue for the UK Eurovision Preview Party that took place at London's well known nightclub and gig venue! This is a classic building, providing a true London landmark in the regenerated Kings Cross part of London. Based next door to the Thameslink station, across the road from the Kings Cross – St. Pancras train terminal and underground station and 5 minutes walk from the new Eurostar international train terminal, there could be no better location for this special party for fans across the UK and beyond. And the organizers knew that perfectly!
A perfect concert and nightclub location, Scala has hosted events for Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Moby, Super Furry Animals, Chemical Brothers, Kruder & Dorfmeister The Doves, Dido, Outkast, Lionel Ritchie, Stereophonics, Sophie Ellis Bexter, Suede, Gomez, Elbow, Robbie Williams, The Rapture, Hanoi Rocks, Kelis, Kosheen, Chicane, The Scissors Sisters and Joss Stone.
Sirusho had a press-conference there and of course performed her Qele, Qele. She is happy to continue her promo-tour in Frankfurt, Brussels and Greece.

Sirusho's CD single will be released by the end of April or very beginning of May and is aimed for promotional purposes in Belgrade. Please note, that no air-mail delivery will be performed. For having a press-kit all the journalists and fans have to be in Belgrade.
One of the bonuses is the DVD of "Qele, Qele" video-clip and the T-shirt.
At this very moment Sirusho leaves for Yerevan from Moscow in order to continue her promotional tour in Europe. She will visit Germany, Belgium, Greece, UK Eurovision Preview party, the Netherlands, Spain and France.

"Public TV Company of Armenia" CJSC has invited
Siarhey Mandrik to work at the main concept of Sirusho's show in Belgrade as well as the choreography. It is already known that 3 dancers will be on stage and two back-vocalists will be making the show possible. The back-vocalists are Tigran Petrosyan, well-known from last year Hayko's performance and Razmik Amyan, a solo-singer with a beautiful voice. Both of them have kindly agreed to support Sirusho during the whole show.

Sirusho began on
12th of March, 2008 in
Moscow. She had a photo-session with Russian representative
Dima Bilan for a well-known
"Yerevan" journal cover. She has been invited to
"Tashir" Awards Ceremony taking place in
Moscow on
April 6th, 2008. The ceremony will host guest stars from Russia (Dima Bilan), Belarus (Ruslan Alekhno) and Ukraine (Ani Lorak). Sirusho has been interviewed also by "MIR" TV, well-known in CIS countries and having more than 40 millions of audience.
On
28th Sirusho continued the tour by visiting
Georgia.
Hayko, the Armenian participant of ESC 2007 and Sirusho had several concerts and meetings there. The Georgian fans of Eurovision Song Contest were extremely happy to meet the artists from Armenia and gave a very warm welcome to them. Georgian Public broadcaster , "MZE" TV, " Stereo 1" MTV and the Public Radio of Georgia were so kind to help her with the promotion of the Armenian Entry "Qele, Qele" among all viewers and listeners in Georgia.
