Germany's delegate at Eurovision 2017 Levina pays tribute to the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide
Accompanied by Armenian delegate at Eurovision Artsvik, representative of Germany at Eurovision 2017 Levina paid tribute to the victims of Armenian Genocide at Tsitsernakaberd Memorial. Levina pointed out, she had heard about the Armenian genocide, since Germany had recently recognized it.
In addition to this, Levina also met with Eurovision fans and representatives of media and gave interviews.
To recap, earlier the singer had visited Komitas Museum-Institute and performed “Kaqavik” by Komitas. Levina showed interest towards Komitas’ personal belongings and the music he composed.
Levina familiarized with the recently opened temporary exhibition entitled “Sound and Silence”, getting to know many folk musical instruments displayed at the museum. She tried to play the Qanun, a string instrument, and was impressed to listen to a number of folk songs.
