Artsvik to represent Armenia at Eurovision 2017

Public TV Company’s music project “Depi Evratesil” finished with Artsvik’s victory. The winner was decided based on sms voting and professional jury made up of Armenian musicians living abroad. Artsvik received maximum of points and gained the opportunity to become Armenia’s delegate at the most popular European music contest – Eurovision 2017.

The professional jury was made up of music producer Araksya Musheghyan from Russia, composer-pianist Arthur Aharonyan from France, Opera singer Anahis Heghoyan, UK, musician, composer Karen Asatryan, Austria, director-choreographer Arthur Gurunlyan, UK, singer Iskuhi Abalyan, Belarus and ethno-jazz-pop singer Rita Movsesyan from Austria.

Eurovision 2017 will take place in Kiev. For now, Public TV Company of Armenia announces a competition of composers. The song should last no longer than 3 minutes, can be in any language, any genre, and most importantly, should not be previously publicized.

The deadline for submitting the song to the address [email protected] is January 30th.
